Girl!
Happy Birthday Joey!
So, my goal with this page was to either link to or embed a bunch of the classic web games that we used to play on Miniclip and similar sites. HOWEVER, it appears that the entire genre has pretty much died, almost all of the games I could find were AI slop or bait for children to buy a billion gems with a parent's credit card.
While that is unfortunate, I refuse to delete this page and will instead link to a few alive sites that bring back some of the charm of the old internet. Click on the images to go to the pages.
The guy that makes these websites is an absolute gem. This one is so reminiscent of Club Penguin with the hand-drawn art style and simple multiplayer aspect. He has a bunch more games and experiments over here on his main website.
Speaking of Club Penguin, here's the actual thing! Club Penguin itself shut down years ago, but various projects have kept it alive over the years (somehow evading the ruthless intellectual property team at Disney, I have no idea how). Club Penguin Legacy is alive today, and the best part is that this time the membership and all its associated perks are free! The community still keeps it fun with new events, areas, and things to do.
I REALLY wanted to find a Barbie/Stardoll/dress up game that was still alive (I guess Stardoll exists, but I think it's the only one) and held the same charm as what I remember playing. This was the closest I could find that wasn't COMPLETELY horrible.
